its been quite some time that i covered wedding events. well this shot was taken after the solemnisation of the couple and i snapped a few candid moments. the room was rather warm because of the many anticipated relatives coming inside for a glimpse of the beautiful bride and groom, newly wed and obviously emotionally happy. i could see Ridwan, the groom holding back his tears of joy when he came in to the bride room and i felt happy too. another day tomorrow for their wedding receptions as their official photog.
journalism in wedding photography can be very tricky and challenging. it all depends on the surroundings and the mood of the joyous event not just the couple but everyone else in it. but the couple has the main frame focused and it all happens in seconds and none of which to waste. i'm no pioneer to the art nor am i an expert. but i learn sometimes that its a lucky chance but then again moments can be choreographed like some ppl do and i did too. moment waits for no one and sometimes the moment u are waiting does not come!

it was sunday afternoon. i met my friend ratnor at woodlands regional library and we were going out for some shoots. i returned my over due book to the library and we made our way to the mrt station not knowing where to go. he had his newly bought 300D and sigma 70-300 APO so he's geared for anywhere but we haven't decided. i wanted to photograph people and i could only think of little india cause i enjoy going there. but then we decided on something different and never done before. we took the train to kranji and headed to Singapore Turf Club! wow.. it's weird to see so many people there who obviously are gamblers. so we paid $3 for entry and we roamed the place. true enough there where many things to shoot especially people. common people mostly and it saddens us to see them gamble away their hard earned money and their faces all looked like they've lost. haha.. maybe i'm wrong and they're just putting a straight face even after a big win. well less talk and more pictures.. here are some of the shot from my camera. enjoy.

chillout with hendra today. we went to shaw towers starbucks for some brew and oreocheesecake. we wanted to catch a show but pathetic as it seem, there were only 2 movies showing that day. Superman Returns and a mandarin movie. sucks.
spill spill.. later in the evening we met bum and razin for more food and brew at arab street. stuffed like a cow.
then another chill out session after that at another cafe in arab street. we were at mosi cafe and they had this honeymilk drink which tastted too sweet for anybody to drink in my opinion.
